Discraft ESP Athena – Paul McBeth

Why is the Paul McBeth ESP Athena your next “workhorse”?

• Perfect control and stability: The Athena is engineered to handle the most powerful throws without losing its line. Its stability ensures the disc flies straight even at high speeds, finishing with a predictable, reliable fade.

• The Anax's “little brother”: If you like the Discraft Anax's flight path but need a slower, more controllable disc for shorter distances, the Athena is the ideal choice. It lets you manipulate varied lines in any weather.

• Premium ESP plastika: This material is famous for its durability and excellent grip. ESP plastic ensures the Athena “beats in” slowly over time, keeping its overstable character longer than base materials.

• Forward-finishing fade: Unlike discs that “drop” sharply sideways at the end of the flight, the Athena offers a “forward-penetrating” hyzer finish, helping you gain extra meters even in the landing phase.

Official Discraft description of the Athena

“Introducing the sixth disc in the Paul McBeth line. This speed 7 driver is meant for controlled throws with a reliable finish. As Paul himself says: ‘Discraft fairway drivers are the most underrated in disc golf, but the Athena perfectly fills a niche that was empty until now.’”
